The publication under review
is a sequel to the one with the same title issued in 2020. It is a veritable compilation
of titbits, extracts, reports, articles etc. It is beneficial to all especially
senior citizens, as almost all topics dealt with affect the elderly also. I am
sure there will be something new for everyone, even highly educated persons. I
found ORAC and ‘sookshama’ yoga new to me. Articles on the same topic may be
combined for example: prostate problems. Most articles may be read in a sweep
of the eye – short and sweet.
Sri Shankar Rao has a
penchant for selecting photographs. Inside Cover and outer cover photos prove
he is popularly felicitated. Messages from Dr Vittal Rao and Dr Sobha Perindevi
add immense value.
Part 1 was well received, and
so will this part 2 too. I am committed
to the subject of gerontology and geriatrics and take pleasure in welcoming
this booklet with all my heart.
