Support Elders is a Calcutta based Elder Care company operating in many cities including Hyderabad. They offer a wide range of personalised services to the elders’ community, especially those living single / alone whose wards are away for some reason or the other. They send ex-army volunteers to offer errand services (buying vegetables, groceries, medicines), accompanying elders to meetings appointments, manage or help in finance managements; their at-home services include reading books, giving company, assist in hygiene / bathing / clothing etc.
I was attracted to their “enriching cognitive solutions” promoting positive aging via assistance in online or land-based learning activities. And their emergency handling service is again noteworthy – this will relieve a lot of mental tension for children living far away. A special emergency device with an SOS button is given to members.
